Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for Medical Surgical units at a Level I Trauma Center. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting, adhering to strict staffing and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit according to hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with team members utilizing the team nursing model to manage patient caseloads efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance standards, including trauma and travel guidelines.
• Work scheduled day shifts, with on-call responsibilities as needed and flexibility for weekend shifts.
• Comply with travel and licensing regulations, including RTO approval and vaccination documentation.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years recent, relevant Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Hold an active RN license compliant with NLC guidelines; compact license acceptable.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Cerner systems preferred.
• Exhibit excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
• Be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Meet all travel compliance standards for Tier 2 facilities.
