Job Summary:

Registered Nurse specializing in infusion therapy with experience in infusion centers, including chemotherapy and bio-certified procedures. Responsible for providing expert patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting while ensuring compliance with certification and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer infusion treatments such as chemotherapy and bio therapies to patients in accordance with physician orders and healthcare protocols.
• Monitor patient responses during infusions, adjusting care as needed to ensure safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient status, and medication administration using electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with all certification requirements, including ONS chemo-bio certification, and stay current with ongoing education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and safety protocols specific to infusion centers.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in California and current Infusion Center certification with ONS chemo-bio credentials.
• Possess at least 2 years of infusion center experience, including chemo administration.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic or similar EHR systems and charting standards.
• Be available for 9-hour shifts from 0800-1730 hours, with flexibility for variable days and weekends.
• Able to provide recent work verification and background check documentation, including last 2 weeks via Nursys.
• Comply with travel and work policies, including lab and certification requirements.
