Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The role involves managing ventilators, conducting ventilator weaning, and supporting physicians with respiratory interventions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor ventilator and non-invasive ventilation support.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
• Perform airway management procedures, including intubations and suctioning.
• Document patient care accurately using computerized charting systems.
• Manage medication distribution using Pyxis and other equipment.
• Maintain equipment such as PB 980, PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent.

Qualifications:

• Hold current RRT, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with NRP preferred.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of pediatric, neonatal, or adult respiratory care experience.
• Be able to care for diverse patient populations without first assignment restrictions.
• Have or be willing to obtain a Hawaii State Respiratory Therapist license.
• Demonstrate ability to work shifts on the Day shift (0630-1900), three 12-hour shifts weekly.
