Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive physical therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. Demonstrates a commitment to patient-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and organizational excellence while supporting community health initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients through skilled evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and modify therapeutic interventions utilizing equipment such as ultrasound, electric stimulation, and therapeutic exercise tools.
• Collaborate with medical staff and team members to coordinate patient care and optimize recovery outcomes.
• Manage department operations, including revenue enhancement, expense control, and adherence to regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and support department staff, fostering professional development and a cohesive team environment.
• Coordinate orthopedic specialty clinics, including screening, triaging, and prioritizing referrals.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Possess at least four years of active, full-time patient care experience.
• Maintain current licensure in good standing as a Physical Therapist in Alaska.
• Demonstrate proficiency in clinical documentation, patient communication, and use of therapy equipment.
• Exhibit strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively across cultural contexts.
