Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for 12-hour night shifts in a busy acute care community hospital. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in airway management, mechanical ventilation, and respiratory protocols within a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage airway interventions including nebulizers, CPT, NIV, cough assist, IPV, and assist with intubations and bronchoscopy.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment such as Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, and LTV models.
• Administer medications, monitor ABGs, and provide oxygen therapy, including high flow and continuous albuterol.
• Transport mechanically vented patients within the facility and support critically ill adult and pediatric patients.
• Adhere to protocol-driven treatments and record clinical documentation in Epic charting system.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including BLS and licensure requirements, and complete necessary background checks and drug screens prior to start.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience in acute care or ICU settings.
• Valid NH state license and BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, CRTT, or RRT preferred.
• Proficiency in airway management, mechanical ventilation, ABGs, and pulmonary therapies.
• Experience with Epic charting and respiratory equipment is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated competency in peds ER and ICU preferred, with neonate experience beneficial.
• Ability to work night shifts consistently and comply with travel policies.
