Job Summary:

Provide specialized respiratory therapy services to patients on day shifts, including ventilator management, advanced airway support, and use of respiratory devices. The role involves coordinating patient care and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and monitor patient responses to facilitate optimal respiratory function.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilator equipment, including Draeger, Hamilton T1, and Philips V60 devices.
• Evaluate patient needs and adjust therapy plans accordingly, documenting all interventions thoroughly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Maintain current certifications, licenses, and clinical competencies to ensure compliance and quality care.
• Respond to call shifts promptly, providing emergency respiratory support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of current Respiratory Therapist experience.
• Hold active Respiratory Therapist license and all required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS).
• Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management, high-flow nasal cannula, and BPAP/CPAP devices.
• Previous travel or temporary assignment experience highly preferred.
• Submit supervisor-signed references from within the past year.
