Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for 12-hour day shifts providing acute care in a community hospital setting. The role involves managing airway protocols, assisting with advanced respiratory procedures, and supporting critically ill patients across various age groups.

Responsibilities:

• Administer inhalation therapies, including nebulizers, high-flow oxygen, NIV, and cough assist devices.
• Assist with intubations, bronchoscopy procedures, and mechanical ventilation management.
• Monitor and interpret ABGs, manage airway equipment, and perform pulmonary toileting.
• Transport mechanically vented patients within the facility and support pediatric ER and pediatric units as competency is demonstrated.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system and ensure patient safety compliance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory care experience in trauma, ER, or ICU settings.
• Current NH state license and BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, CRTT, and RRT preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in airway management, ventilator management, and medication administration.
• Experience with equipment such as Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, and LTV ventilators preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, acute care environment with floating flexibility across units.
