Job Summary:

Seeking a Skilled Registered Nurse for Med/Surg Tele unit at Cleveland Clinic. This role involves providing high-quality patient care and may include float assignments to various units and the emergency department.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient vital signs, responses, and progress.
• Recognize and respond promptly to patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Ensure compliance with certification requirements and facility policies.
• Participate in orientation assessments, including safeMedicate and rhythm recognition tests.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
• Hold an active Ohio license or a compact state license in hand.
• Be certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS with active credentials.
• Demonstrate recent experience, including travel assignments in the specialty.
• Provide a reference from a supervisor or higher-level evaluator within the specialty.
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
