Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized care during day shifts, including ventilator management, high-flow nasal cannula therapy, and CPAP/BIPAP support. The role involves rotational call coverage following scheduled shifts to ensure continuous patient support.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient respiratory care following physicians' orders and clinical protocols.
• Manage ventilators, including Draeger and Hamilton T1 devices, ensuring optimal performance.
• Administer high-flow nasal cannula therapy using F&P Classic and Airvo 3 equipment.
• Oversee BPAP/CPAP devices, focusing on ResMed AirSense and AirCurve units, with basic home unit knowledge preferred.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current and valid license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent clinical RRT experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ventilator management and respiratory devices.
• Maintain active certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association.
• Provide a supervisory reference from the past year confirming competencies.
• Be available for shift rotations, including call responsibilities, with no more than 3 days off RTO.
