Job Summary:


Seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate and expert care for patients during childbirth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-acuity hospital setting with state-of-the-art equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to labor, delivery, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum patients.
  
• Monitor fetal heart rates using advanced FHR monitoring devices, including Novii and GE systems.
  
• Perform procedures such as vaginal deliveries, C-section deliveries, and fetal scalp electrode placements.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
• Educate patients and families on labor, postpartum care, and newborn care to ensure understanding and comfort.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical records (CPN and Meditech).
  
  

Qualifications:

• Strongly prefer candidates with 1+ years of current acute care hospital L&D experience.
  
• Hold valid BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN or EFM certifications.
  
• Require active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
  
• Experience with Mom/Baby, Peds, and NICU settings is a plus.
  
• Demonstrate flexibility, dependability, and a friendly demeanor suited for high-stress environments.
