Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive maternal care to expectant mothers during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. Ensures patient safety, monitors vital signs, supports delivery procedures, and educates families on newborn care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs to assess the health status of patients.
• Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum procedures.
• Manage and respond to complications or emergencies during labor and delivery.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn handling, and breastfeeding support.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN IFM certifications.
• Valid State Nursing License in Michigan.
• Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and patient education.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
