Job Summary:

Provides specialized occupational therapy services to patients recovering from injury, illness, or loss of function, aiming to enhance their independence and quality of life. Develops individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' developmental, cultural, and educational backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement personalized therapy programs aligned with physician directives.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety protocols.
• Document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate outcomes to healthcare teams.
• Maintain compliance with licensing requirements and adhere to standard clinical protocols.
• Foster a compassionate and supportive environment to encourage patient engagement.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Licensed to practice occupational therapy in Montana.
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and empathetic patient care.
• Possesses strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities.
• Prior outpatient therapy experience is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, considering gender, age, and cultural differences.
