Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a PACU outpatient surgery center to provide high-quality postoperative care. The ideal candidate will have PACU experience and a strong commitment to patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' recovery status following surgery in the PACU.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient conditions and interventions accurately using charting systems.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity of care.
• Adhere to facility protocols, including mandatory drug screenings and compliance requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date licenses and certifications required for the role.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in postoperative or PACU care.
• Strong knowledge of postoperative protocols and patient assessment.
• Ability to work daytime shifts (5x8 hours) with no call, weekends, or holidays.
• Experience with Altera charting system preferred.
• Must meet travel compliance and lab completion requirements.
