Job Summary:


Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel PACU position specializing in post-anesthesia care. The role involves providing advanced bedside care in a fast-paced surgical unit with a focus on patient recovery and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs during recovery from anesthesia.
  
• Administer medications and manage pain relief as prescribed.
  
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety.
  
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the EMR system.
  
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations in the PACU.
  
• Adhere to all unit policies and safety protocols, including ASPAN guidelines.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of PACU or ICU experience.
  
• Proven ability to perform general, neuro, oncology, orthopedics, and vascular post-surgical procedures.
  
• Current ACLS certification required; comfortable with Meditech EMR.
  
• Pleasant personality, easy-going demeanor, and team-oriented attitude.
  
• Ability to work weekends and on-call shifts as required.
  
• Experience in a fast-paced surgical environment strongly preferred.
