Job Summary:
Seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment at a 240-bed facility. The role involves providing respiratory care in ICU, NICU, PEDS, and Med-Surg units, supporting ventilator management and patient therapy.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to diverse patient populations.
• Set up and manage ventilators, assist with intubation procedures.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analyze results.
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory care protocols and equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including documentation within Meditech EMR.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital RRT experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
• Valid CRT or NBRC credential preferred.
• Prior experience with Meditech system is advantageous.
• Experience in PICU or NICU settings highly preferred.
• Strong team-player with a collaborative approach.
