Job Summary:
A Pharmacist is needed for an 8-week contract to support EPIC system conversion projects. The role involves providing clinical pharmacy services with a focus on inpatient settings, ensuring seamless integration with electronic health records.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate EPIC system implementation and testing.
• Verify medication orders, dispense medications accurately, and maintain patient safety standards.
• Utilize Cerner and Epic platforms proficiently to support clinical workflows.
• Document clinical activities thoroughly within electronic health records.
• Adhere to licensing requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California pharmacist license.
• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy school; PharmD degree preferred.
• Demonstrate at least one year of technical pharmacy experience, including prior inpatient clinical roles.
• Meet minimum EPIC experience requirements, with a minimum of six months within the past year.
• Proficient in Cerner and Epic electronic health record systems.
