Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting, ensuring adherence to established standards and patient care plans. Lead and coordinate patient care activities while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health status through thorough evaluations and document findings accurately.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and diagnoses.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary personnel to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to all infection control, safety standards, and clinical policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid State Registered Nurse license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience required.
• Current NIH certification (AHA) required; candidates without certification may be considered.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and maintain professional standards.
• BLS certification required prior to start.
