Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled IR / Special Procedures Tech to join the imaging team for a 13-week travel assignment at a busy hospital. The role involves performing specialized interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Philips IR Table and other advanced imaging equipment to facilitate various procedures.
• Assist physicians during Y90, prostate embolism, tunneled catheter placements, thoracentesis, and paracentesis.
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures using Meditech system.
• Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to safety protocols throughout each shift.
• Manage patient preparation and post-procedure care efficiently.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold BLS, ARRT, and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of radiology or interventional procedure experience.
• Possess neuro experience preferred.
• Show ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced settings.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
