Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized respiratory care in a hospital setting. The role involves managing airway support, ventilator therapy, and collaborating with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer continuous airway management and ventilator support for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Monitor and adjust ventilator settings using equipment such as PB 980, PB 840, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent.
• Consult with physicians on patient respiratory status and provide emergency interventions like CPR.
• Maintain accurate documentation using computerized charting systems and manage medication distribution via Pyxis.
• Follow facility protocols for infection control, including vaccination verification.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License prior to assignment start.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of respiratory therapy experience with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations.
• Possess current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications; RRT credential preferred.
• Able to care for critically ill patients across different age groups.
• Successfully pass equipment and procedural competency assessments.
