Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled registered nurse to provide perioperative care in a busy Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This travel position offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and a experienced team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer postoperative care to patients recovering from various surgical procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Follow unit policies, ASPAN guidelines, and safety protocols during all patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current state certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in PACU, ICU, or equivalent clinical setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients with general, neuro, oncology, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries.
• Possess ACLS certification (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
