Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with acute care experience to provide essential therapeutic services. The role involves working in a fast-paced medical environment to evaluate and treat patients with neurological, medical, and surgical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform Modified Barium Swallow studies and manage acute care cases.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement therapy and monitor patient progress.
• Ensure all compliance and documentation are completed accurately and timely.
• Maintain current BLS and CCC-SLP credentials, with MBS certification preferred.
• Adhere to all facility policies, including compliance deadlines and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold CCC-SLP certification with recent acute care experience.
• Possess a valid license and current CPR/BLS certification.
• Demonstrate experience with Modified Barium Swallow studies.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Be willing to work 5x8s, days, Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
