Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled CT Scan Technician to operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic studies. The role involves working within a fast-paced teaching hospital environment, providing critical imaging services across various shifts and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Siemens Force, Go.top, and Somatom Definition imaging equipment to perform CT scans.
• Adhere to safety protocols by ensuring radiation badges are supplied by the agency and maintaining compliance.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and float within scope to meet departmental needs, including coverage at sister facilities.
• Maintain detailed documentation through Epic charting system and ensure all procedural standards are met.
• Demonstrate proficiency in trauma and emergency imaging, particularly in a Level 1 Trauma setting.
• Comply with all licensing, certification, and radiology safety requirements for patient and staff safety.

Qualifications:

• Hold an ARRT (R)(CT) certification and SCRQSA (R)(CT) license.
• Possess at least 6 months of experience working with Siemens imaging systems, with preferred Level 1 Trauma experience.
• BLS certification required; as well as previous experience in a trauma or hospital setting.
• Be willing to work 3x12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM) and participate in holiday rotation.
• Have a valid South Carolina license or proof of application, in hand at start.
• Capable of providing radiation badge through agency; MUSC does not supply badges to travelers.
