Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated EEG technologist to perform and analyze electroencephalograms in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The candidate will support clinical teams by capturing accurate brain wave data for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate EEG equipment to record electrical activity of the brain with precision and clarity.
• Prepare patients for testing by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
• Analyze EEG results to assist neurologists in diagnosing neurological conditions.
• Maintain and calibrate electroencephalogram machinery in compliance with industry standards.
• Document patient information, test results, and any anomalies accurately.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize patient care and test protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 1 year of EEG technologist experience.
• Possess EPIC charting experience and proficiency with EMU procedures.
• Current VA or compact state licensure required at the time of submission.
• Must be able to work night shifts (3x12 hours) from 19:00 to 7:30.
• BSN preferred; additional certifications in EEG technology are advantageous.
• Ability to float within scope as needed and adhere to hospital policies.
