Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled EEG Technologist to perform and analyze electroencephalogram studies, supporting clinicians in diagnosing neurological conditions. The candidate will work in a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring accurate testing and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct EEG procedures according to established protocols and standards.
• Prepare patients and explain testing procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate and troubleshoot EEG equipment to ensure high-quality data collection.
• Document and report test results accurately for physician review.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures throughout testing.
• Collaborate with medical staff to interpret findings and assist in clinical assessments.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid EEG Technologist certification or credential.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience performing EEG procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC charting and electronic medical records.
• Maintain knowledge of neurological testing standards and protocols.
• Exhibit excellent patient communication skills.
• Be eligible to work in the local area; VA or compact state licenses preferred.
