Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a busy hospital. The RN will provide specialized postoperative care, ensuring patient recovery and safety across all phases of PACU.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs throughout the recovery process.
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient status and care provided in electronic medical records accurately.
• Manage both Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery activities, including discharge procedures.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in Texas or the applicable state.
• Possess 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience.
• Experience in PACU, ICU, or ED preferred.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Demonstrate strong engagement, adaptability, and willingness to learn new skills.
