Job Summary:
Provides pharmaceutical care to patients in a retail pharmacy setting, ensuring safe and effective medication management. Collaborates with healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes through accurate dispensing and counseling.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of pharmacy activities.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Graduate from an accredited pharmacy school; Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree preferred.
• Possess AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate at least one year of technical or inpatient clinical pharmacy experience (preferred).
• Have retail pharmacy experience.
