Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care in a critical access facility, supporting high-risk deliveries and neonatal care. Ensure safe patient outcomes through skilled management of both routine and complex obstetric cases.

Responsibilities:

• Manage high-risk and routine vaginal deliveries, including use of forceps or vacuum extractors.
• Monitor fetal and maternal status using external fetal monitoring and perform reflex checks.
• Administer medications, IVs, and assist with sterile speculum exams and sterile vaginal exams.
• Perform neonatal assessments, manage newborns, and provide postpartum care.
• Support surgical cases such as cervical cerclage and assist with neonatal resuscitation as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active KS or compact RN license with no pending status.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience.
• Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
• Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring, sterile exams, and neonatal care.
• Experienced in managing high-risk obstetric and surgical cases.
