Job Details

Job Summary:
Perform diagnostic mammography imaging procedures to aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast health issues. Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate mammography equipment to produce diagnostic images following established protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and explaining the process to ensure cooperation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures and patient records.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines, including infection control and radiation safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to interpret and review imaging results.

Qualifications:

• Hold current CRT certification and BLS certification.
• ARRT certification in mammography preferred.
• Possess at least 2 years of mammography experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic or similar charting systems.
• Be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing and possess a valid state license.
