Job Summary:
Performs routine and specialized mammography procedures to produce high-quality images that assist physicians and healthcare providers in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of breast injuries or diseases. Works independently with clinical precision, ensuring safety, privacy, and optimal patient care through effective communication and assessment.

Responsibilities:

• Execute mammography procedures accurately and efficiently to deliver diagnostic quality images.
• Assess patients thoroughly, monitor their condition, and communicate effectively throughout the process.
• Adhere strictly to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed and compliant charting using the Epic system and manage patient documentation accurately.
• Provide orientation and guidance to department staff on mammography procedures as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of procedures and manage patient flow to optimize department efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California CRT license and associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Imaging or Radiologic Technology.
• Possess at least 2 years of mammography experience.
• Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic charting and specific mammography protocols.
• Be able to work day shifts, including weekends on a rotation basis, with flexibility for variable start times.
• Comply with travel, background, and licensure requirements as specified.
