Job Summary:
The Credentials Coordinator is responsible for managing and verifying healthcare professionals' credentials to ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. This role involves coordinating credentialing activities, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting staff onboarding processes.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and review medical staff credentials to meet accreditation and hospital policies.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to obtain required documents such as Start date, RTO, SSN, DOB, and address.
• Ensure compliance with hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) standards and other safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate and organized credentialing records in the hospital’s credentialing database.
• Collaborate with clinical departments to facilitate onboarding and credential renewal processes.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in medical staff credentialing within an acute care or hospital environment.
• Hold required certifications, including Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS).
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Possess excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Be proficient with credentialing and hospital compliance software.
