Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will provide outpatient rehabilitative care to orthopedic patients, including young athletes and post-operative individuals. The role emphasizes delivering hands-on therapy to improve function, balance, and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Evaluate patient progress and modify therapy activities accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and injury prevention strategies.
• Document patient sessions accurately, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support patients with balance, mobility, and post-operative recovery needs.
• Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment in accordance with facility protocols.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience as a PTA; 2 years preferred.
• Demonstrate competency working with orthopedic populations, young athletes, and balance disorders.
• Hold or qualify for pending licensure in the state.
• Have proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in outpatient settings.
• Be able to work weekdays during daytime hours (8 am - 5 pm).
• Preferably have Meditech EMR experience.
