Job Summary:
Provide occupational therapy services to patients at a veterans home, focusing on assessing, planning, and implementing treatment to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive conditions to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' motor skills, activities of daily living, and independence.
• Document patient progress, modify treatment strategies as needed, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and coping strategies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards during therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

• Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proven experience in providing therapy services within a veteran or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS certification is required.
