Job Summary:
The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care within the emergency department, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, and execution of nursing interventions. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary care and delegating tasks to ensure optimal outcomes for all patient populations throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans aligned with standards of practice.
• Execute nursing diagnoses, implement interventions, and evaluate patient responses to treatments.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care activities.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of services.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic medical records.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and uphold best practice standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of ER travel nursing experience.
• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC).
• Credentialed with PALS and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with all patient populations, including trauma (Level IV preferred).
• Hold an active Minnesota state nursing license.
• Be proficient in Epic EMR and demonstrate competency in clinical skills relevant to emergency nursing.
