Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to both outpatient and inpatient adult patients. Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring optimal recovery through therapeutic interventions aligned with physician prescriptions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' functional abilities and diagnose treatment needs in rehabilitation settings.
• Develop and implement personalized therapeutic plans, adjusting as necessary based on patient progress.
• Conduct re-evaluations to monitor outcomes and modify treatment strategies accordingly.
• Manage a full caseload independently while maintaining accurate documentation within EMR systems.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs to promote ongoing recovery.
• Collaborate with medical teams to ensure consistent, quality care and compliance with insurance guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Hawaii occupational therapy license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience working with adult patients in outpatient and acute care settings.
• Be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Red Cross.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EMR systems such as Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Hawaii State and Federal holidays if necessary.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment, planning, and communication skills.
