Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for Medical/Surgical units to provide holiday coverage and staff support. Clinicians must be flexible, available prior to 11/14, and able to work two of three upcoming holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care for diverse medical-surgical populations, including congestive heart failure, diabetes, and post-surgical patients.
• Monitor and manage patients with high acuity, including lines, chest tubes, and titratable drips such as heparin and amio.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips, utilizing telemonitor systems to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with charge RNs, nurse managers, and support staff to deliver efficient and quality care.
• Complete mandatory orientation, including unit-specific training, credentialing, and EMR setup.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including flu vaccination and fingerprint processing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current BLS certification.
• Must have at least 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience, trauma, or work at a high-volume facility.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing lines, chest tubes, and titratable drips.
• Ability to read telemetry strips and operate telemonitor systems, brand unspecified.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, with availability for day or night shifts.
• Knowledge of Epic and Omnicell systems preferred.
