Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to neonates in a Level III or Level IV NICU, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to manage complex respiratory conditions and attend deliveries when required.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor mechanical ventilation and other respiratory therapies for neonatal patients.
• Perform neonatal intubation and arterial sticks with proficiency and accuracy.
• Attend and assist during deliveries, providing immediate respiratory support for newborns.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and response to therapies accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Must have documented RRT-NICU experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting.
• Proven expertise in neonatal intubation and arterial line placement.
• Experience working in delivering facilities, handling deliveries as part of the team.
• Strong knowledge of neonatal respiratory care protocols and emergency procedures.
• Hold current licensure and certification as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Ability to work night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule.
