Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging/CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including general X-ray and CT scans, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. They serve as the first point of contact for patients and support efficient department workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately using CT and X-ray equipment
• Adhere to patient safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns
• Maintain precise documentation of imaging procedures and patient information
• Assist in managing department workflow to optimize patient throughput
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed, ensuring availability outside scheduled hours

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT CT & R certification and Colorado state licensing requirements
• Possess BLS certification and proven competency in POC duties
• Demonstrate proficiency with Canon and Siemens CT equipment
• Exhibit strong patient communication and care skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekends and call rotation
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
