Job Summary:
Provide specialized physical therapy services to adult patients in an acute care setting, focusing on functional recovery and mobility improvement. Deliver evidence-based evaluations and treatments while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to determine functional status and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions using basic rehab equipment, portable parallel bars, ceiling lifts, and other modalities.
• Document patient progress and treatment details accurately in Sunrise Allscripts system.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff to coordinate care and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, unit-specific guidelines, and safety standards, including dress code and certification requirements.
• Participate in weekend shifts and flexible start times, with coverage across inpatient and emergency departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NH Physical Therapy License and BLS certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of relevant acute care experience, including higher volumes of cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic cases.
• Demonstrate proficiency in vestibular assessment and treatment preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to diverse patient diagnoses.
