Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to ICU patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced cardiac and critical care interventions to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and laboratory results.
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress accurately.
• Float within hospital units or to affiliate facilities as needed, maintaining flexibility per policy.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications, ensuring compliance at all times.
• Support transitioning to EPIC EHR system, contributing to smooth implementation.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU or critical care experience, with at least 1 year in the specialty.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with excellent clinical judgment.
• Flexibility to float between units and work some holidays as required.
