Job Summary:
Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans to improve patients' mobility and functional abilities within skilled nursing facilities. Provide direct patient care, support rehabilitative services, and contribute to patient progress assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Support the physical therapist in delivering patient evaluations and therapy sessions.
• Implement treatment plans, exercises, and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist.
• Monitor patient responses and document progress accurately in clinical records.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding care plans.
• Assist in maintaining therapy equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or certification.
• Proven experience providing therapy services in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong understanding of rehabilitative techniques and modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of documentation standards and compliance requirements.
