Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive perioperative care for surgical patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients pre-operatively to determine their readiness for surgery.
• Create and maintain a sterile field, ensuring infection control standards are met.
• Monitor patients' physical and emotional status throughout the surgical process.
• Assist with surgical procedures, including circulating and scrub roles.
• Educate patients and family members on pre- and post-operative care instructions.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State RN license with current certification uploaded in profile.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room experience.
• Proven experience in vascular, orthopedic, trauma, gen surg, urology, ENT, or robotic surgeries.
• Ability to work both circulating and scrub roles; scrub experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of EPIC EMR and surgical procedures.
