Job Summary:

Conducts pulmonary function testing and respiratory therapy procedures to evaluate and improve patient respiratory health. Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnostics and optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pulmonary function tests and exercise testing to assess patient respiratory status.
• Perform methacholine challenge procedures when required.
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment in compliance with safety standards.
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to develop patient treatment plans.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs during testing and therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

• Hold current licensure and certification as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Possess experience working in a Level 1 trauma or hospital setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in exercise testing and methacholine challenge procedures.
• Exhibit strong patient care skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including a mix of 7a-4p and 7a-5:30p schedules.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills.
