Job Summary:
The Nurse Educator for Ambulatory Care is responsible for providing clinical education and training to nursing staff and healthcare providers in the outpatient setting. This role ensures compliance with clinical standards and enhances staff competency through ongoing education initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver educational programs tailored to ambulatory care nursing practices.
• Assess staff learning needs and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to update training materials and protocols.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational initiatives and track progress.
• Assist in onboarding new nursing staff by providing orientation and instruction.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active New York State RN license with primary source verification.
• Possess at least 2 years of solid Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Have an Associate's Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program.
• Certification in AHA BLS is required.
• Demonstrate strong clinical background and communication skills.
• Preferably hold a Master's degree (MSN or Ed degree) in Nursing Education or related field.
