Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adult patients during day shifts, ensuring safety, stabilization, and optimal mental health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses according to physician orders.
• Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment.
• Document clinical observations, interventions, and patient progress accurately.
• Support patients through therapeutic activities and de-escalation techniques.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment compliant with facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active registered nurse license with relevant state authority.
• Possess experience in adult psychiatric or mental health care settings.
• Demonstrate strong assessment and crisis intervention skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Be proficient in documentation and electronic medical records.
• Maintain BLS and CPR certification; additional psychiatric certifications preferred.
