Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer/Sonographer is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a hospital setting, supporting physicians with high-quality imaging to aid in patient diagnosis and care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures utilizing GE equipment for diverse clinical indications.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and preparation to obtain optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and findings in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain sterile techniques during equipment operation.
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver comprehensive patient care throughout examinations.
• Participate in on-call and holiday rotations, offering flexible coverage including weekends.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting as an Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer.
• Hold current ARDMS certification in general/OB and vascular specialties.
• Demonstrate proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment and imaging techniques.
• Exhibit excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Be flexible to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Successful completion of BLS certification.
