Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to obstetric and gynecologic patients within a community hospital setting. Collaborate with a team of experienced healthcare providers to deliver quality patient care and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate care for obstetric and gynecologic patients, including labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and well-being, intervening as necessary to maintain safety and stability.
• Assist with stabilization and management of patients requiring couplet care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in compliance with facility standards.
• Educate patients and their families on prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic health topics.
• Adhere to organizational policies, including attendance and punctuality standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state RN license.
• Possess at least 3 years of recent OB/GYN nursing experience.
• Demonstrate experience with labor and delivery (L&D) and postpartum care.
• Be comfortable providing couplet care and stabilization procedures.
• Hold current ACLS certification; BLS required.
• Have prior travel nursing experience, preferred.
