Job Summary:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive postoperative and acute care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, EKGs, and other clinical data.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current Massachusetts RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience.
• Experience with telemetry and EKG interpretation required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications active and current.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Ability to float to other Medical Surgical units when needed.
