Job Summary:
Provide physical therapy assistance to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring effective therapeutic interventions and patient care. Collaborate with licensed therapists to support treatment plans and promote patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapy sessions.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses during therapy.
• Educate patients on exercises and activities to support their recovery.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in therapy areas.
• Follow all regulatory and safety guidelines while providing patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active PTA license or compact eligible license.
• Possess at least 1 year of experience outside of clinicals as a PTA, with outpatient experience preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communication and patient interaction skills.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Have a solid understanding of outpatient therapy procedures and protocols.
