Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery unit to provide exceptional maternal care. The role involves managing high-risk pregnancies and assisting with delivery procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor laboring patients for signs of labor progression and complications.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed to ensure maternal and fetal well-being.
• Assist during delivery, including C-sections and external cephalic versions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and family members on pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Valid KS or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
• BLS, FHM, and NRP certifications completed and current.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in high-risk labor and delivery setting.
• Demonstrate competence in caring for gestations 34 weeks and greater, including pre-eclampsia and diabetes.
• Ability to float within scope to similar units as required.
