Job Summary:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in detecting and treating medical conditions. They operate specialized equipment and ensure quality image acquisition while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radioactive tracers to patients following safety guidelines.
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and provide instructions throughout procedures.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately in electronic medical records.

Qualifications:

• Hold current NY State Radiologic Technologist license with Nuclear Medicine certification (ARRT(N) or NMTCB).
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent nuclear medicine experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating GE nuclear medicine cameras and EPIC EMR systems.
• Have venipuncture skills and experience with radioactive tracer administration.
• Be capable of working independently and adhering to strict safety standards.
• Must have a reliable vehicle for travel to the facility location.
